Description: From Colonial days to the formation of Newberry Township in 1742, Newberry has had rich heritage. Newberry Township is a township in York County, Pennsylvania, United States. By the late 18th century, several towns had sprung up throughout the township. Lewisberry and Newberrytown were early Quaker settlements.
