Description: The sixth and final volume, covering the period 1982-83, of the catalogue raisonne of Henry Moore Complete Drawings 1916-1983.
Henry Moore celebrated his 85th birthday in 1983. Though prevented by arthritis from creating sculpture, he was still able to draw, and during 1982 and 1983 he produced about 700 drawings. In this final stage he often worked with smaller sheets of paper, exploring in monochrome effects of light and shade, coming full-circle to the lessons he had learned from Leon Underwood in the early 1920s.
