*Description: *From the Introduction:
F. Scott Fitzgeralds’s “Ledger” is an 8.5x 13.75 inch 200 ruled blank book, purchased from the Brown, Blodgett & Sperry Co in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is the most useful bio-bibliographical document for Fitzgerald, and I know of nothing like it for any other American author.
Fitzgerald divided it into five sections, with blank pages in between:
Record of Published Fiction-Novels, Plays, Stores [1919-1938]
Money Earned by Writing since Leaving Army {1919-1937]
Published Miscelani (including movies} for which I was Paid [1919-1936]
Zelda’s earnings [1922-34]
Outine Chart of My Live [1896-1935]
